Filming the Season Finale:
VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT TICKET PURCHASING
Filming a television show with a studio audience
is a very challenging task. This is information
that you need to be passing along to your family
and friends, and anyone that is interested in
attending the live televised event.
Tickets are $60 flat rate in advance, with
a first come, first served seating.
1.
What do I get for my ticket?
Our ticket pricing is in line with pricing for
high scale/ high class pageant productions in
Toronto.
Normally our event is held in a theatre
that can accommodate tiered seating prices and a
larger capacity. As a result of the event
being taped for television, we are in a venue that
holds a much smaller capacity - in which we have a
greater demand than the space we have available.
2.
How can I purchase tickets?
We have three methods that you can send payments:
a.
In person:
If you want to pay in person tickets will be
available on Sunday evenings beginning June 15
between 6:00pm – 9:00pm at 95 Brimley Road in
Toronto.
The only payments we accept in person is
cash, certified cheque, or money order made
payable to
ES TEAM PRODUCTIONS. We DO NOT accept personal
cheques under any circumstance.
Tickets must be ordered 1 week prior to
picking up in person.
We can also accept payments over the internet if
you want to pick them up in person, but you also
must wait one week in order for all payments to
clear, and you are welcome to come and pick them
up. At
pick up, online orders will be required to show
proof of ID.
b.
Online:
Online we accept Visa, Mastercard, AMEX and debit
payments, and has an additional $3.30
administration fee per ticket.
If you would like them mailed out to you,
there is an additional $10 per order to send items
through priority registered mail.
Delegates families may also order tickets online,
and at registration can come and pick them up, or
likewise can pick up tickets at the door on the
night of the final event.
Proof of ID will be required.
There are absolutely NO REFUNDS.
3.
What is the ticketing process?
No matter what method of payment you choose, you
will be required to provide your name, address and
telephone number, so that we can ensure the
protection of your tickets.
If you have pre-ordered your ticket online, you
will be required to show valid ID at the time of
pick-up, whether it is at our home office, or at
the final event.
4.
How old do patrons have to be to attend?
We regret to inform that children under the age of
10, are not permitted at the live televised taping
of our national event.
Due to the demanding filming schedule, and the
stringent studio atmosphere, we cannot accommodate
interruptions.
5.
Will standing room be available?
Unfortunately not.
As a result of the necessary requirements
of multiple cameras, strategically placed
throughout the venue, standing room is not
available to prevent blocking camera shots.
Patrons are required to remain seated throughout
the entire show.
Standing not only blocks other patrons, but
will interfere with the television production.
Patrons found standing during the
production, will be escorted off of the premises
without a refund.
6.
Will my family or I be able to bring a video
camera?
Absolutely not!
The only video cameras permitted in the
venue, are those of our professional production
crew.
The Miss Latina® Canada pageant and all of our
related events are exclusive copyrights of Nuevo
Mundo Television and ES Team™ Productions.
Any video cameras present during our final
filming will be confiscated; if they are caught
filming violators will be prosecuted.
7.
Can I bring a regular camera and take still flash
photos?
Flash photography is allowed, however filming with
a digital device is not permitted.
If patrons are found filming with a digital
camera, violators will be prosecuted.
8.
What happens if I arrive late?
If you arrive after filming has began, you will be
required to wait until there is a break in the
program, where you will be permitted to enter.
Please note that our program begins promptly at
6:30pm, and we do not have many breaks.
Miss Latina® Canada has a reputation for
starting exactly on time – therefore it is in your
best interest to arrive on time to prevent
inconveniences as all ticket sales are final and
non-refundable.
9.
What if I have to leave the room once the show has
begun?
During filming you cannot leave the room, as you
cannot be standing or walking.
Walking – like standing will block camera
shots, affect our audio sounds, and cause other
patrons to have to rise out of their seats when
you leave and when you come back.
All of this movement can cause serious
problems in filming.
We operate like any other televised
production that do not allow bathroom breaks,
smoking breaks, or answering cell phones.
Once you are in production with us as a
televised audience member, you must remain until
intermission.
Intermission is normally 1 hour and 30 minutes
into the program, and lasts approximately 15-20
minutes long.
We encourage patrons to use the facilities,
smoke, or make cell phone calls before the program
begins, at intermission, or once the program is
over.
10.
Can I have my cell phone with me?
Patrons are encouraged to leave their cell phones
at home.
If you bring your cell phone to the event,
it is absolutely mandatory that they are turned
completely off, and not vibrate or silent.
During the live televised taping, we will have
many wireless devices that can be severely
affected as a result of cell phone interference.
Family and friends that purchase tickets to the
live televised taping of the national Miss Latina®
Canada event, you agree to adhere to all of the
above regulations.
