Maria
Parada is of El Salvadorian heritage, and extremely
proud of her history and culture. Maria is the
winner of the first ever, Ottawa/Gatineau regional
pageant, and shouldered the responsibility of
representing the Latin community in Ottawa with great
pride.
Maria is in her last year of high
school, and would like to continue her education at
George Brown College in Fashion design in Toronto.
Maria is also avid Rugby player, and enjoys swimming and
basketball. On her spare time she loves to curl up
with good book, because she loves reading. She also
loves dancing the Bachata and Reggaeton!
Maria is proud to be
finishing her high school education, and has seen great
growth in herself, from getting to know who she is as a
Latina, to who it is that she would like to be.
She believes that with the right work and drive you can
accomplish anything.
