Karen
Nunez is 23 years old and of Chilean descent. As a
current student of York University, Karen is majoring in
History focused on Latin America, with plans to obtain
her second degree in International Development Studies.
Karen has longed dreamed
to travel throughout Latin America, and plans on
back-packing through the continent to explore her
culture aincluding all that she has learned.
Karen believes that Latin
Americans are all connected through dance, music, food,
land, history, passion and the love we share for our
countries.
When she is asked where she is from she always makes
them guess, and is almost always met with hesitation
because they say "I don't want to offend you if i guess
wrong."
Yet, she is never offended, because she thinks we are
all connected anyway.
